What stays in your browser

Three things are saved locally, in your own browser, using local storage rather than cookies. Nothing is ever sent to a server:

• your theme choice, light or dark;
• your progress in the daily games, so a reload does not lose it;
• your game streaks and quiz scores.

Clearing your browser data erases all of it. Because it never leaves your device, a streak does not follow you to another browser or phone.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent is required for storage used to track people or measure audiences. The items above are strictly functional: they exist only to make the site work the way you left it, and they identify no one. No consent banner is needed for that, and none is shown.

Hosting and external requests

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical connection data such as IP addresses in its server logs, as any web host does. Food icons are loaded from the Noun Project content delivery network, so your browser contacts that domain when a food page displays an icon.

If this changes

Should measurement ever be added, it will be a cookieless, privacy-respecting solution, and this page will say so before it goes live.
